Overview
Machaella Reisman focuses her practice on complex insurance litigation and advising policyholders in insurance coverage matters. She represents corporate and commercial policyholders in evaluating, pursuing, and resolving insurance claims, and counsels clients through a broad range of complex coverage disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Machaella practiced at a large law firm where she represented policyholders in a variety of insurance coverage disputes and assisted clients in navigating complex insurance claims. She leverages that experience to guide clients through all phases of litigation and dispute resolution, including claim investigation, discovery, mediation, and trial.
Before representing policyholders, Machaella represented major domestic and foreign insurance carriers in a broad range of coverage disputes in state and federal courts. She also provided comprehensive coverage opinions addressing a wide array of first-party and third-party insurance coverage issues. This experience gives her a unique perspective on insurer decision-making and coverage positions, allowing her to develop effective strategies for policyholders seeking to maximize insurance recovery.
